Touratech upper bars & factory spotlights

Hi,

I have the factory spotlights fitted to my bike (2016 1200GS TE) and looking at the upper Touratech bars I wondered if there is issue fitting them under the beak as the spotlights are on a bracket under there?

Anyone fitted the bars who has the spotlights fitted?

I have the SW-Motech Upper bars on my R1250GS rather than the Touratech and for those, you can't fit the OEM spotlight bracket AND the SW-Motech bracket; Instead what I had to do was remove the OEM bracket completely and utilise some Denali spot brackets to mount the OEM spots (as well as purchase the kit to convert the OEM spot brackets for mounting on general (Denali, SW-Motech, Wunderlich, Touratech) as well.

These were the clamps I used from Denali https://www.denalishop.co.uk/denali-21-29mm-led-light-mount.html (they do them in different sizes (you'd need to search the store), check for your bar size)

That's really helpful, thanks for posting. I thought it might mean having to hang the spotlights off of the bars. I'll need to factor the additional kit/cost into the equation.
