Had a nice ride back from Holyhead tonite and the Xenon light was used. Good, not sure it was worth the 240quid but does give a lot of light and makes the dozy b*g$ers in the outside lane wake up....

... mind you switching back to dipped so you don't dazzle oncoming traffic is bloody dangerous. One second plenty of vision next second all you can see is three feet with the standard lights.

.. must get some 20 watt bulbs for the head light. Tesco's probably do them more powerful!!!

.. any suggestions for replacement main/dipped bulbs?

got some 85 watt ones a few weeks ago..

12 euros each..

work a treat..

phillips vison II workl as well 55 w but 85 w output..

I've been thinking of fitting some high power H1's. Only problem is, I've heard that they don't last as long as standard bulbs - particularly when left on all the time.

Anyone have any experience of fitting them?

But not everyone has the grasp of how this bulleting board works Isaac, especially newer members, sometimes they need a helpful push and a bit of encouragement.

i only had them on for a few days, they had to be rewired when i changed tanks a few weks ago..

was waiting for fuel line and quick release clips to fit, and when i do that im gonna reconnect the lights..

found them great, they wern't excessivly bright, but they were clear and easily adjustable so i think the are perfet to act with my low beam..

will take some pics when i reconnect them..
