This is my wife’s car. She bought it from the old lady who lived next door, back in 2019. Joyce bought it brand new from Farmer and Carlisle Toyota. So only two lady owners.
It was four years old when we bought it, and had done only 8k miles. In the six years we’ve had it we’ve only put another 17k on it., it’s now just clicked over 25k miles from new.
It runs, smells and drives like a new car. The interior is almost as brand new.
It’s a rare auto model, Toyota call it X shift.
Spec is very high on this car, I think Joyce ticked all the boxes but for some reason she didn’t have alloy wheels. If you want some they are cheap as chips on eBay.
Anyway here’s the spec
Remote central locking
Electric mirrors
Electric windows
Air conditioning (ice cold)
Multi function steering wheel, inc flappy paddle gear change. Actually auto blips if you change down!
7inch TFT touch screen
Reversing camera
Reversing sensors
DAB radio
Bluetooth hands free phone connection. This works really well, very loud and clear.
Tachometer
USB plus phono inputs
Switchable traction control
Height adjustable steering wheel
Ultra bright daytime running lights.
Car info computer/ analysis display on screen.
ZERO TAX BRACKET. although this may be about to go up to £20. Not sure to be honest.

The car also had a full set of genuine Toyota rubber mats fitted from new, hence the carpets are mint. Also no wear and tear on the seats as both lady owners are in the ‘petite’ size bracket.

Service history.

Main dealer at 1600 miles.
Main dealer at 7600 miles (both at supplying dealer)
Very good independent at 14400 miles.
Tires have lots of tread all round.
Discs and pads all good.
New battery 3 years ago.
Both original keys with metal dog tag and dealer key ring.

Comes with a huge wad of paperwork, V5 in the wife’s name, all old mots, service receipts, original bill of sale, full book pack with everything that came with the car when new.

Negatives.

Not much. The last MOT had an advisory for the two rear tires. The tester said very light cracking but needs to be noted.
We’ve not replaced them.
Couple of scratches/ marks on the near side rear quarter. See pics. Tiny bit of lacquer peel on two door handles.
Bit of rubber trim missing on the roof rail slot.
The previous owner had a little repair done at the front where she caught it on the house wall.
Due a service.

This really is a fun little car to drive, surprisingly peppy with its three cylinder 998cc engine. Sounds great, handles like it’s on rails. The paddle gear change add a bit of fun if you want to use them.
Returns around 45mpg around town, more on a run. On the rare occasions it’s been on the motorway it will sit at 75-80 comfortably.

This mileage and spec seems to be around £5500 on eBay, there’s not many if automatics, and very few with this mileage.
I’m happy to take £4700 for it, I’ll leave it on here for a few days before I go down that route.

I’ve sold several bikes and a couple of cars over the years I’ve been on here, plus lots of other stuff. (Probably bought as much too)
Hopefully I’ve got a good reputation for an honest description.
Anyway if you want to come and drive/test/ look over the car at your leisure it’s here on my drive, the kettle will be on.
I’m just off J23 M1 Leics, (Shepshed).IMG_7296.jpegIMG_7297.jpegIMG_7298.jpegIMG_7299.jpegIMG_7300.jpegIMG_7301.jpegIMG_7302.jpegIMG_7303.jpegIMG_7304.jpegIMG_7305.jpegIMG_7306.jpegIMG_7307.jpegIMG_7309.jpegIMG_7310.jpeg

I forgot to mention, it’s obvious from the pics I know, but it’s five door, and has a leather bound steering wheel.
Even comes with a full tank of fuel!

Thanks for the message, will call in the morning. Carol is keen so looking positive
