I replaced both TPM sensors before a trip to Switzerland in Sep 2023 with pukka original units and - guess what - the front sensor no longer works. At the price they shopuld last for ever!!!!

So has anybody come up with a way to isolate the warning light on the dash because I can quite happily live without TPMS in the future?

you can buy a fake sensor for 12 to 30 quid - it will be at least as good as OEM - mainly coz its the very same bit without BMW robbery pricing
and can code them yourself for less than £100 or get anyone local with motoscan to do it for a beer

playing with a light is almost more effort

the other good thing the law gives you 2 years its a myth we only get 12 months - if you were robbed by a dealer for the job go rip them to bits - assuming you didn't magically get a new tyre from halfwits r us and it didn't work straight away or just afterwards

What model & year would be a start 😁

I can't recall if it can be turned off with the GS911

You can turn off the RCD with Motoscan (and I assume GS911).
