Whilst servicing my 1200GS yesterday, and resetting the service reminder icon with my 911, I noticed that the TPMS section had an option to calibrate the units. It asks you to attach the test kit, (which I don't have), and then you can continue.

Obviously I couldn't proceed, nor did I really want to, as they have been working fine, but does anyone know what this piece of test kit is, for the TPMS?
(I know the units only wake up after so many revolutions down the road, so presumably this kit both wakes them up and reads a pre-determined input !?!)

Any ideas?

It’s referring to a wake up tool. Doesn’t have to be a specific one I suspect as they are pretty generic. The tool puts the tpms into transmitting mode when stationary and depending on the model it might have an info screen for the tpms

I can confirm that the wake up tool you need is just to wake up a sleeping TPMS sensor, should only need to do this if you change a sensor or wheels with other sensors fitted. I had to do this when I swapped my spoked wheels for a set of cast ones with GB earlier this year.

Here's a link to my wheel swap post which has a youtube link to show you how to use it:
