God, I don’t know if my new sensors are not working or if it’s the bike.

In order to test these wake up tools, if I take an old wheel that I know works and is coded into the bike as Set A, if I switch on the ignition and have it on the TPMs pressure window on the dash if I wake the old wheel at valve with said wake up tool by pointing at the valve then a value should appear on screen? Am I correct in thinking this?

Just old tool wasn’t working, so bought a new one on Amazon, got it today put new battery Duracell PP3 (bought from B&M) and still same outcome sensors are not waking up even old one on old wheels with test above.

Thanks
Mark

check what codes are stored in the bikes brains - if it shows two and you never changed them it should come up on screen when they are awake...

Thanks, yes i have the original wheels codes stored in slots A and then the new codes i tried taking off what was noted on the new ones.

However today i tried clearing the slot B's then waking up the new ones but it didnt work. Do you happen to know does the GS911 need to be connected to the internet for this function? Its not complaining about it but im just thinking could that be the problem possibly?

I just wanted to prove the wake up tool as i have read loads about batteries, so thats two tools not waking up the old wheels so im just at a loss to where the issue is, currently its looking like:

1) Wake up tools both of them not working
2) Issue with the actual computer on bike
3) GS911 not doing its thing properly
4) All four sensors have stopped working

Im thinking its between 1 and 2 to be honest, just be nice to see the old wheels wake up and display on the screen of the bike as these are coded into slot A

Pain in the behind..

I think the new codes aren't correct or the sensors aren't behaving

as you have the old set coded take a screenshot delete and try and reinstall the new ones on Set A for the moment - it'll be easier to know where you are - and add the old ones when its a good day - can you ride somewhere (mates house) and use someones wifi to do the change

on the GS911 I guess it depends on the iteration of software and the tool you have
the yellow one should still work and def never goes online
a red wifi can use the old software and I guess works offline
the currently more user friendly software keeps going thorough cycles of updates and new features and most interesting stuff works online - its more like scan and clear on the open road and coding / playing at home

Ive had a play around with this until i run the battery on the bike flat even with the trickle charger hooked up.

So managed to get the original rear wheel to wake up, showed on dash as you said.

I then cleared all the slots with GS911. I then learned the old wheel and there appears to be no ryme or reason to where you place the wakeup tool. Anyway it worked and it coded in that empty slot.

So then cleared and moved that wheel out of the way, and no matter what i try it just wont see the new sensors.. So i then tried letting all the air out of the rear tyre as the GS911 says this is an option. Take it as you put in air the sensor should wake or even when its sensing a change in pressure it will activate the sensor. Thats when the battery died.

Ill try again when the battery charges this time ill run the bike. Will drop the pressure and see what i get.

Looks like the sensors are not working.. Bugger as the tyres are on..

FWIW , I replaced the batteries in my senders for my 2014 GSA.
The first wake up tool did not work ( think wrong frequency and they all look the same and are very cheap )
One labelled EL-50448 and OEC-T5 does wake up my sensors

So do check that you have a correct wake-up tool

All wake up tools use the same frequency of 125 KHz.
