TPS Voltage with BBpower chip (2004 Twin Spark)

Can anyone tell me whether the TPS voltage readings differ from standard if a BBPower Chip is fitted to the R1150GS.

Have just checked mine prior to going to France next week and the ‘closed’ voltage was 0.721volts as opposed to the 0.37-0.40 specified.
Have adjusted it back to 0.39, done a TPS reset and then tried wide open throttle which reads over 8 volts !! (Oilhead maintenance book says it should peak at 4.77)

This seems way off standard & I can only assume it is the BBPower chip making the difference. Last time I checked the voltages they were spot on, trouble is I cant remember whether I fitted the chip before or after !!

Moral of the story
Always check the battery in your DVM is OK !!
