Not cheap but fitted with ground-breaking tech.

I had a 2022 Tracer 9GT and it was a cracking bike, let down by a terrible screen, the hard to read dual instrument panel, and for me, an uncomfortable seat.
They appear to have addressed all those issues with this GT+ version.
Too late for me, having bought a GS and half the Nippy Norman's catalogue!

All that tech and still only one headlight on dipped beam :blast

Don’t get me wrong, I love Yamahas and Tracers, but why cut costs on lighting? My Super Tenere has both lamps on dip and main beam and that’s how it comes from the factory.

I had a 2017 Tracer. With decent tyres, Ermax screen, new fork springs and rear shock, it was a cracking bike. Cheap, fast, scratch or tour. The GT just seems to be trying to be a Multistrada, and it’s getting heavy.

I’ve ordered one-part exd my Caballero and should get it in about a month.
Cab was great but set off my nerve issue due to the seat/peg height/positions so had to go.
I’ve always thought the CP3 triple in the Tracer (and other bikes) was one of the best road bike engines ever.
Sounds bloody ace and 117bhp is plenty.
Never owned a bike with the engine in it until now.
The only thing stopping me buying an earlier Tracer was the sloping seat and the twin binnacle ‘clocks’ which look like a scuba divers mask.
But the GT+ has a lovely TFT and the seat seems not to be such an issue as its fitted with comfort seats as standard-plus I’ve ordered this kit for $28 delivered from US.
Would have probably bitten the bullet earlier if I’d have known it was such a cheap fix.

Sat on a bike in P&H in Crawley the other day and it all seems very nicely finished.

I think it’s a good buy for the money.
Comes with semi -active suspension, radar cruise, auto emergency braking, heated grips, level 3 quickshifter, main stand, and panniers as standard.

All for a shade under £13k for me.A good £10k less than a new GS1300/Multi V4 etc with similar kit.

Don’t need all that tech but if it’s standard…..

Only thing I’ll probably add is a top box for a) extra luggage capacity and b) more comfort for wifey on the back.

Can get a big 50 litre Yamaha (Shad) one like this for about £400 all in

Anyway, looking forward to getting it.
Hopefully it’s comfy and fine for my nerve issue and I can get to keep it !

Looks really nice. Had a go on the standard bike. Thought the panniers were a bit of a weird shape though

The seat mod, although it appears relatively minor, made a big change to the riding position- more upright and taller. You might want to fit short bar risers with the seat mod.

I believe it's to allow you to get a full sized crash helmet in each one.
Fair enough, but there are much more aesthetically pleasing panniers that Yamaha could have fitted and which would take a full-face helmet in each? Ah well, at least you can take them off and you can’t see them when you are riding. Still, it probably wouldn’t stop me buying one if or when I decide to trade in my XT1200Z
