The new Tracer is hideous. Does anyone make a good looking motorcycle any longer? They are all hideous with the 1300GS Adventure being just about the ugliest of the bunch.

Watching that last video and also having seen race footage where riders drop a foot to the pavement, what is the reason for this?

It's called "The Doctor's Dangle". Rossi started it many years ago. Everyone copied. When he was asked why he did it he said he didn't know, but he knew why everyone else did it.
