Up and down the 'box in the usual way is fine, trying to use the 'Gen 3' bits i.e. down the box when on the throttle and up the box when off the throttle is horrible.Agree 100% If you read other road tests and reviews, they all say the Yamaha Q/S has set the bar high compared with any other manufacturer.
I do agree with you, I am old school and rarely us the Q/S and when I have, it’s only been for up shifts. When I took a test ride I tried the Q/S and my own mechanical sympathy said “No, please don’t do that”. I can only think the magazine testers don’t give a toss, but I have bought and paid for my very own bike and I will make sure it is treated properly.Up and down the 'box in the usual way is fine, trying to use the 'Gen 3' bits i.e. down the box when on the throttle and up the box when off the throttle is horrible.
Any updates about this issue?Connects fine via WiFi but cannot authenticate Motorize without connecting via USB.
I’m away for two weeks but when I get home I’m going to send a video to Garmin as requested via email to show the issue and hopefully they’ll update the app to work with iPhone 15s

I have the Yamaha adjustable levers, (they are made by Gilles), and I had them as part of Yamaha’s £1500 offer which finished back in December. To be honest, I wouldn’t have bought them with my own money even though they are lovely levers, I would have bought Evotech or similar for less money. So, to answer your question, I haven’t had any issues with the bite-point so whether that is do do with the Gilles levers or not, I can’t really say. The test bike I rode felt absolutely fine, or at least I didn’t experience anything untoward with the clutch on that bike with standard levers.I'm new to the Tracer club and really enjoying it so far. New topbox sorted and a seat riser mod on the way.
Have any of you swapped your clutch for an adjustable lever? I was looking at the Yamaha one but it's damn expensive when I can get 2 Evotech levers for the same price (when in stock). I'm finding the lever is almost fully out before it hits the biting point. I've tried adjusting with that silver disc thing next to the lever for free play but not really any better.
Can't quite get spotify to work on the TFT. Can listen to whatever is on my phone but it doesn't show up as an option when I'm trying to scroll through playlists etc. Must be some disconnect happening.
They work well for me, I am not very big, so no big shoulders on me.Anyone on here with a Tracer 9 GT+ who thinks the mirrors are not quite where you need them to be? I have to move my upper body to see anything and that could be quite costly for points and £££s!
I have some mirror extenders that I could try, (but haven’t just yet), but thought I would try asking the question on here first. Other than that, this bike makes me smile every time I ride it, probably the most entertaining bike since my Buell that I had 15 years ago, (and said that I would never sell!,,) !
Yes I know its in the Handbook, however it does not explain how to turn off the Lift Control just says between 1 and 3 on custom settingsSet your custom setting to have what values you want, eg slide, traction and lift. It's all in the handbook.
Read it again....5-26.Yes I know its in the Handbook, however it does not explain how to turn off the Lift Control just says between 1 and 3 on custom settings

I think you are out of luck. I don't how high level 1 lift will allow.Just have
So the only way to turn off the lift control is to turn off SC mode which will turn off TCS SCS and LIF together.
I was just wanting to turn off the Lift control on its own ? leaving the TCS SCS active ?
