Whilst looking for a map giving the location of Camp Elsenborn on the bloody Elsenborn Ridge, the home of the 16 battalions of American field artillery that - firing up to a range of 16 kms - smashed into the German advance and rear during the Battle of the Bulge, I tripped over this website, which bods might find handy:

Whilst at it, if anyone wants an easy (and quite exciting) read of the monumental battle, 'Ardennes 1944' by Antony Beevor is a good buy. Having a basic map to hand when reading the book, helps to marry-up lots of places I've ridden and driven through with the events.

I have read a number of books by Antony Beevor, great factual reads everyone of them. Have not read Ardennes 1944, must get myself a copy, thanks for the recommendation.
