Actually VERN, you would have wiped out the countries entire stock of aircooled G/S's in one swoop if you'd arranged this ( you always where a hopeless sod 
).
Imagine all that snaking and virtually no brakes ( then again it would make for excellant high corner speeds
)..plus all those gearbox oil seals, fork seals and cylinder head gaskets self exploding !!!

I reckon the easiest/cheapest way would be to book a block with an established outfit, and I would highly recommend Motorcycle Folly .
They are a not-for-profit group, set up a long time ago for like minded blokes to ride quickly around a circuit. They are VERY good with novices, the fast riders are VERY fast, but they don't put up with any infantile behaviour. Gentlemen, the lot of them! Very profesional, and don't put up with any intimidation, stupid antics, etc. Just riding your bike to the limits of your ability!

Just an idea but there is a bike track day on either Sat Aug 12 or Sun Aug 13 at Lydden on their full circuit, cost £105 and £89 respectively. See here http://www.trackdays.co.uk/tracks/lydden.htm

The North -Take the A2 South-East from Canterbury. The South -Take the A260 North from Folkestone to Wootton then the A2.
The East-Take the A256 Sotuh to Dover and then the A2 North West.
The West -Take the A2 South-East from Canterbury
I have a free weekend pass and am considering it with the HP2. But also considering a Welsh weekend on those glorious roads.
