Moly, if it's the TBEC event, don't be fooled by the name. A great set-up, offering enjoyable riding, but it's a hare n hound type event where the majority of the riders will be on enduro tackle. (unless it's changed since I last raced with them, 5 or so years ago)
Big trail bikes will most certainly be a rarity, if not non existent. I may be wrong, but best to check with them first

I've heard of a few events out there that are supposed to be big trailie friendly, but I've never worked out which they are, definately interested to hear about them though.

thanks for those posts i do ride those events and they do suit the bigger bikes yorkshire was ace last year special test was a bitch on a hp2!!!!!! bam bam will agree we both struggled it was tough as it rained we got there

Are you talking about the Ryedale? That field on the second day... and the wooded sections were kinda interesting too!

Lost a full minute on my test time after that shower! Made it particularly interesting, like dancing on greased ice, with slippery shoes on!

yes the field on the test was crap i wanted a 300 ktm instantly after that mauling ..the series of 120mph straights after it got rid of my anger!!!!!!!!!!

Glad it wasn't just me who found the field somewhat of a bitch!!

The firetrails were great, although pretty sure I didn't get to 120!
