if anyone has something they’d move on could you give me a message? Planning to look at a couple this weekend, prefer to purchase from here if possible.

Budget is up to £3500 so clearly not in the market for the latest models, condition and low number of previous owners prioritised. Electric start please

EXCF, FE, etc

Ideally 350, decent fuel range (90 miles +).

I’m in Kent, happy to travel. Cheers all

I have a KTM 450 EXC 57 plate one of the last of the RFS engines.
It was used regularly when I lived in the Peak District but not since I moved to Suffolk (3 and a bit years ago).
IIRC it’s a 6 Days model, under 10K, looked after by (KTM dealers Leisure Trail) and I’m the second owner.

Thank you

If I lived in your part of the world it could be ideal, however the tight chalky lanes in Kent demand something lighter/ more nimble. I’ve tried an XTrainer which was almost perfect bar the excessively short fuel range which necessitated repeated detours to refuel.

Appreciate your suggestion though

You know the difference between a 250 and 350 is 1kg and the 350 and 450 is 1kg.
Even the 300 2T and 500 4T is only 2.5kgs.

The X-Trainer is very unusual as it’s basically a modified trials bike hence it being well under 100kgs and a shit range.
There’s only 2.5kgs between our 500’s and the 250 we’re selling.

Appreciated but you’re an experienced rider so knows that 1kg in weight translates to a far greater feeling of momentum on a 450 than 350/250 etc. I’ve owned 200/250/300/350/390/450 and the sweet spot for me was defo the 350. I can’t afford yours either :D

Still got my WR250F for sale somewhere in the for sale section.

would a cheapish RE Himalayan be any good? or are they considered too heavy. I was just thinking about the eleccy start and fuel range.

Off to find it (y)

Thanks for your offers and ideas, now have been in contact with one of our fellow gs’ers on here and agreed to buy their very nice bike. Always the best place to buy on here for me

Cheers all
