Trail Ride Sunday 11th Oct

This was the road that crosses Buxton Golf Course - look carefully at about 28 secs into the film and spot the golf ball nearly hitting Vince!

Paul

I'm in aw Gentlemen, I know Roych and Chapelgate from my 4x4 days. The first time I drove Chapelgate, I crushed the drivers door :augie. I'm too chicken to try those lanes on two wheels.

Thats hilarious, how did you fall off going that slow?

I am probably going to eat those words at some point.

210kg+ bike with a 110kg chap on it, in a slippery wet rut with tkc Tyres on = fall off:rolleyes:.

Made me smile vince, take my hat off to you amazed you didn't

posted.:thumb.

look forward to it:D even the rutted one's;). where abouts you thinking of going?

Are TKCs not very good off road?
They're a compromise tyre.

Good enough for trail riding, but you probably wouldn't win a motorcross event with them on.

If you ride more on the dirt than road, you might want to consider another tyre.

Don't let Vincent's antics put you off :D

Seeing him fall off has made more eager to come, I want to see him do it in the flesh, even funnier. I am picking my new-to-me bike up in Cardiff on Sunday and it has a proper set of tyres on it (not sure how long they will last on tarmac though).

PS Warum bist du eine Teekanne?

Tkc are not that bad in the mud, I have a dunlop d908 on the back not a bad mach for a big bike. And Im looking forward in seein you on your new bike ;-).we will see how you do on the day . I will have my helmet cam on:-)

Yep they are nice, I just have the humble LC4E 640 Enduro, road it back from Cardiff yesterday the tyres are enduro tyres (just road legal) and not very stable at 70mph - will get a better compromise when they wear out.

Need to give it a good bit of TLC as I took the air filter cover off and the filter is dirty as hell, has grass stuck to it.

What do you chaps have with you when you go for a ride out, dont want to be caught empty handed?
