Transfer multiple files from iPhone to PC

My lad wants to transfer several hundred files from his iPhone to a PC or MAC. Anyone found an easy way or some reliable free software to do this?

He should be able to transfer files if he synchs his phones via iTunes on his PC. Check ‘Apple support’ for instructions.

It is alive and well.

Alive and well on Windows. Gone from Mac. I've always found iTunes fine for transfering files. As fast as anything else I've ever used.
