I find the Proraso stuff very good
They do a pre-shave cream & an aftershave balm as well for the complete job

My wife’s hair conditioner is the best shaving cream. She doesn’t pack quite as small as that Proraso tin though and no you can’t borrow her. She’s very fussy.
