Treales trailers 'Foldaway Series 2' bike trailer, any experience?

I use the one with the wind up front wheel cradle on Bike recovery for our local garage...
Takes everything from 50cc Scooter to an Aspencade Gold wing with no problems..
Bastard to tow when empty tho' but why would you when it restricts you on motorway and it's made to fold down ....

Thanks, any idea how much they are?

Ring 'em...
They will sometimes do a deal with you if they have a few in stock..
The garages was AA class ...... and was bought as a "used" demo :augie but no wear at all on the tyres [still got all mould prickles on] for £550, that's with spare tyre and lightboard :thumb2

Cheers.
Just wanted an idea. I didn't want to bother them if they are stupid money. Sounds like they 'could be a similar price' to the better of the 2 Bikelug models :thumb

I`ve got one, had it about 3 years.

Bought it from Ebay, the owner had only used it a few times, then gave up biking.

Very heavy, very solid, doddle to put together, doesn`t even notice a GS or FJR1300 on it, very easy to use, well built.

Would i recommend them? Absolutely.

That's great thanks.
Can you compare build quality to a bikelug?
Secondly how small does it break down to, will it all fit in a car boot easily.

They look great. Never seen one, never even knew they existed and they are just down the road from me!

So if you need me to 'nip' in and have a gander, then let me know :thumb

IMHO the Treales are a better built piece of kit..
I've towed both and the Treales is easier to tow and with the sliding cradle, a doddle to load anything single handedly..
The motolug one had metal sided wheel bearings as well, which were replaced immediately....with rubber sealed ones..:thumb2

FYI
Any trailer you buy, check the bearings, if metal sided like on most ERDE etc replace before you get trouble Believe me you WILL have one disintegrate:( if you dont..

around £12 to £14 a wheel and an hour of your time :thumb2
