Trials...........and tribulations

I used to think it was because the kick start was on the left, well on most of the Spanish bikes anyway. Was just a theory and doesn't stand up now as lots of the bikes are right kickers:nenau Unless it's just the fashion?

My Beta has a left hand kickstart, and the sidestand is on the left. Denise's Sherco has a right hand kickstart, and the sidestand on the right. :nenau
I've never really thought about a connection between the two, and I usually use a tree, or just lie it on the floor anyway!

It's the first event on the calendar.

We went past there "the last time". :blast But I couldn't see anything resembling a Trials-like-setting. I saw a church and a dead-end. So unless they put up signs or there's tons of cars/vans/tailers/trials-bikes/etc somewhere, then I'll be driving/riding around the area again, looking my usual stupid. :D

Yeah but........... It was cancelled last time you were trying to find it. I'll give the organiser a call and get some more info, I haven't been to this venue either.........
Apparently it will be signed by the Little orange arrows with plenty of parking in the farm yard. Hope to see you there if you can make it.

If it's signed it shouldn't be a problem. :) Unless something comes up, we'll be there. :) Thanks!

Welcome to Welsh trialling:blast

I was the only UKGSER finisher (no. 55) :augie and just found out I lost only 86, on the intermediate level Clubman yellow route - out of a max theoretical potential loss of 200 - well pleased with that:thumb:clap - I thought I would be north of 100+ marks lost

I'm completely knackered today...........................yesterday's Trial, nr Llangollen was a complete bitch of a Welsh mudfest:(

2.15 marks per section on average - that's just the right side of footing through everything !! :thumb2

Is Timolgra intimating foul play may have been in evidence at some point during someones weekend

Welcome to Welsh trialling:blast

You know it's going to be a tough day when the COC tells you "Its a bit slippery". :eek
Getting TO the sections was interesting enough, never mind through them. I gave up after two laps, and having to re-bolt my front mudguard after mud pushed it off!

Considering the awful conditions (many sections were changed for Lap 2, it was so hard) I thought it was an ok score...............I had some good cleans, not many 1's and 2's and the rest were 3's or 5's................some sections were great and others were nigh on impossible - even to get to the section start cards:eek:

The terrain in open ground, was harder than some of the sections - nearly a third of the entry packed up early:blast

Problem was the overnight frost, had thawed on a Welsh mountainside:eek:
