Well the bike is back with me now in Berkshire. By time I got back from that there London it was too dark to start unloading, so that's a job for tomorrow when I can sort through what we have, what we want and what we're not going to need

I have to say that Andres's mate (Nelson) is an absolute gent and so easy to deal with. He even helped me part with some extra cash for other bits & bobs he had lying around

My plan is to Desert Sled it alloy guards, no lights or indicators, high level exhaust, knobblies etc

Well bought Nice'n'Fat. Please do post pictures of your progress. I've heard these are very sound bikes as compared to their stable mates. The green scrambler that has been included in this post is a credit to it's owner/builder as well. It's bikes like these that inspire the rest of us.

Looking through the big pile of hand written receipts that Nelson gave me has brought back some fond memories of my motorcycling yoof

Names such as Southern Cycles, London Customs, Megacycles, Slocombe's & Roebuck Motorcycles to name but a few. I have invoices for slab yokes, tombstone tail light, custom risers, various chroming and about £150's worth of Black Tulip paint, which shall from now on be known as what it actually is i.e. PURPLE

I used to know the main guy (Pete) very well and built my first chop there ~ just around the corner from Millwall. Even though they were connected to the Road Rats they always shut up shop on match days ...........
