Trojan Horse removal.... HELP!!!!!!!!!

I've now got (according to my fully updated AVG antivirus prog) the SecThought.E Trojan Horse.

Unfortunately AVG cannot get rid of these Trojans. It couldn't get rid of Femad.L either.

I've tried (as suggested) Adaware, Hijackthis, and various other things, but all to no avail

Some suggest that I have to mess about with the windows registry, whatever that is?!

But I'm not keen to get tooo technical!

Can anyone help?

It's very annoying because I keep my AVG up to date, and I run Zone alarm firewall, and still the b**tard things get through.

May be a System Restore problem

That is, you've backed up a Trojan (very nasty Missus, believe me!!).
Try this.
