Trying to recover instagram pages?

I have spent three days trying to work the on line instructions, one press at a time.... I have TWO instagram pages, both are visible as a visiotr. Simons Sharpening Service (my scissor sharpening) and Adventure Safety Boats. I could get into my Adventure Safety Boats page but not my scissor page. Following the online help has resulted in me now being locked out of BOTH pages and there is nobody you can talk to to find out what I did wrong. I have to admit, half the instructions and options I don't even understand what they mean or what they are. Trying to follow the online help has just caused me even more grief.
When I try to login it says my email isn't recognised. I only hae one email and it still works and I have had it since email started, well ever since I first got email - for God's sake don't change it, I will never remember a new one!
Is there anyone who knows how to recover a lost instagram page please? I am getting quite distressed about it because they were my income sources, very meagre I know but I still need them now I have not got my job. I am getting quite desperate about it, mostly because I am frustrated that what other people find so simple I simply cannot get to grips with at all - I just want to be able to post new pictures and stuff to let people know I am still there.

Any help very gratefully received.

Not sure if this helps but both pages are still showing on Instagram, although the sharpening service page shows no posts but has 77 followers??. The Adventure Boats page shows 67 posts and 100 followers. I was locked out of one of my pages a few months ago and only regained access by changing the email/password.

How did you get on the page to change the email and password please?

Ok...bear in mind this was about 18 months ago so procedure may have changed. When trying to log in and failing, I clicked on the "Get help signing in" link, supplied the asked for information and they emailed me a link to reset my password. I don't know what device you use for Instagram but try accessing it using a different type of device - i.e. if you use a phone normally then try logging in using a pc....or vice versa. It may help.... this link has some useful info that may help.

I appreciate you trying to help - but what is it you are asking? Where do I find the URL? I am just following the instagram help page. Or at least, trying to!

What page did you initiate the recovery procedure from.
I wanted to be sure that you didn't get scammed and went through a fake account recovery page* and provided your details to some third party.

This based on what you said: you went through recovery and lost access to both accounts and now your email address is no longer recognised.




*something that looks like recoveryouraccount-instagram-security.com or similar stuff.

Guys, a friend has managed to sort it out for me. I didn't understand the words he spoke! I gave him my email and password and somehow he managed to find the right page and has reset my password, so it is up and working. Just in time as I have a load of salons to visit next week for their scissors.
