It's only six weeks or so away :bounce1 and I'm all ferried and accommodated up :thumb2

I know someone suggested I try to arrange a meet of sorts - but it's very difficult from Bournemouth, and not having been for a couple (or so :augie ) years, things have probably changed.

So if the locals are planning a get-together somewhere :thumb

I'm stopping at the St Helier in Douglas anytime anyone fancies popping around for an evening drink...:beerjug:

I'm always lurking around somewhere, and I'm sure wideload and deetee will be around too

Quayside in Peel is a good venue with a cafe and plenty of parking and outside seating :rob

I'm going again, this will be my 14th year.
Camping at Glenlough ..first time TT camping, did a dummy run with the tent and camp bed (to check bed actually fits in the tent and that is it comfy) on Sunday.

Spent the night in the garden, it was bloody freezing so hopefully it won't be as cold during TT period or i'll be buying a new sleeping bag...but the bed fitted and was comfy so that was the main objective of the excersize.

I'll be on my FireBlade, with a friend in tow on his new 600 Hornet (MissB is missing it this year).

18 days to go.

If anyone spots me at the campsite (or anywhere for that matter) please do say hello :thumb2
Chris

Chris I've got a self inflating thermarest mattress which you can have a loan of should you need it. It certainly helps me with the chills under canvas.

Dave, thanks for the offer...if I think I'm going to need it i'll drop you a message nearer the time :)

Arghhhhh!!!! That tent  just like the one I abandoned on the campsite behind the pub in Ballaugh 2012. Firkin freezing, wet through and windy as fook. Cut my loses came home early, missed nothing as they cancelled Fridays races. I'll never get talked into camping ever again.

Ps, the pubs crap as well. potential gold mine TT week but couldnt be arsed to put any decent grub on half the time. Customers ordering pizzas to be delivered to the pub :nenau

PPS. You will be freezing, even in June!

McGuinness's Ride Sitting pretty ahead of tomorrow's test day.

The first two years we went, we camped - decided that we'd never do it again as it used to be our main hols and got fed up with being wetter that a wet thing in the ocean (if you get the drift ;) ) So if it gets too wet for you Chris, I'll let you know where we are and you can come and stand outside and watch us in the dry :P
