anyone got one of these.they look like a good piece
of kit do you think it will hold a lunch box
and a fleese? it might be better than using my panniers all the time
or a ruck sac?

I too did not fancy using my boxes, tankbag or a day sack all the time for the essentials I take everywhere. I have removed my rear seat and strapped it straight to the rear platform (also removed the grabrail - wife doesn't ride so no need). It (the Touratech bag not the wife) can easily swallow my chain, toolkit, fleece, spare visors, documents pack and a map book or two without having to expand. IMHO a great purchase.

JDW - what do you mean by rear carrier? I don't want to sell the seat or grab rail if that's what you're after. I know re-sale is a long way off but there all the same...
