TT screen extender GSA

Hello,
I've seen a lot of threads, regarding use of screen extenders/lips, due to the buffering / disturbed wind from the standard GSA screen.
Though I suffer slightly from buffering, it is more of a slight pain than a headache. Perhaps because I use good ( well I think they are good) ear plugs and have a roof helmet, which are pretty quiet anyway. But that is enough for me, so...
I decided to purchase a TT screen ( lockable) extender for the GSA. I put it on, and wow what a difference. I am 6ft 1", I am riding @ 80 mph with visor up, with a nice cool breeze going across my forehead, noise, well if you can call it that, is minimal, The TT screen extender, is solid on top of the GSA screen ( perhaps because it is a lockable one) at that speed. Even travelling different direction roads ( east/west - south/north east), it is the same result.

It is really weird experiance riding at that speed with sunglasses on visor up, looking down at the cars as you go past .

Here's a pic, as you can see, my head /line of sight is above the extender, for me this works, good investment.

I agree! I have the non-lockable version and it does what it says on the tin!! Recommended!

Thes eare brilliant, only prob I foujnd was that the rain would not blow off the visor cos it was so effective so take it off in the rain.

I agree. It does look better on the GSA than on my bike, but I don't really care as long as it works. Which it does

Only problem I've found, is that I don't get enough air into my helmet on hot days, and while it makes it perfectly comfortable to lift the visor up at motorway speeds, I don't fancy a bumblebee in the face at that velocity

Yes, on my 1200GS it does make an improvement also (I've got the lockable version). Although there is still some 'buffeting' at higher speeds, and I think that other solutions may be more elegant... I am still happy with mine - but I only fit it on longer trips.
