Just had my back tyre changed on my 1190 , now leaking air through the spokes. Was fitted at a KTM dealer ! No time to ride the 220 mile round trip to return it to them and they will not post me the rubber sealing bands (unless I pay £50.00) which I feel ill inclined to do after I paid £170.00 for them to fit a new tyre. I would like to let my local tyre fitter have a look at it and never see this dealer again.(they also charged me £185.00 for a new battery on a 14 month old 7k bike)
Has anyone heard of a fix for these rims ?:thedummy

I'd let your local tyre fitter remove the tyre and see if the dealer has damaged the sealing ring or just not fitted it properly.
If it's damaged, photo it and send them an email with the picture and them demand they send the rings or you will be sending them a bill.
While you are at it, get the dealer to check for notifications regarding the battery, I've seen on other threads that some have been replaced under warranty.

Went to dealer and it turned out to be the small seal where the valve comes through the rim . I suspect that if you knock the tyre pressure monitor you will have this problem, the rubber sealing ring is a robust looking item and I can't see it being a problem, just the valve is the weak link .looks to me to need a sealant but the dealer was reluctant to try that , I may at a later date if I have another problem with it .
