On my 1200gs fitted them with tiedowns from metal mule work realy well

I think you may be onto something here, I fancied doing this to my 1100, and was just about to post a question here on this very subject. Apart from the 1150 beak do you need anything else to get it to fit?

Only strips of metal & some mesh for a grill as oil cooler on 1150 is more forward leaving a gap on the 1100 & lots of tea
