Mozilla are pretty good at fixing things......they may have slipped a patch in there and got it working after the initial release :thumb2

I might give it a try it meself soon........ :augie

Well I for one wish I had changed over a long time ago as its lightning fast compared to IE and as IE was crashing all the time it was a no brainer :beerjug:

I uninstalled that version (8.1.0 I think) and installed 9.0.4, the latest offering. That found the WiFi straight off. Of course, it might be different on a Dell...

i've only tried the latest ubuntu, mepis,gOS,mint and mandrake, so i could keep d/l and trying different variants until i lose the will to live.

strangely, the mepis live cd worked fine, then stopped on full install :nenau
