Anyone got any experience/thoughts on this?.

Still looking for an on road/off road GPS and this looks as though it might fit the bill.

On first look. The mounting reference is confusing, as they suggest its compatible with RAM (diamond base) and Ritcher 4 T-slots

The cradle is Ritcher style which as it stands is not compatible. I 'thinks' you'll need a Ritcher adaptor plate 1642 to adapt it :augie

Looking at the device is shrills Holux at me as well (like Road Angel) .

Same old story......the lack of support and mapping, plus limited planning-on-a-pc capability (compared to what you can do with Mapsource and Garmin mapping products) means that it may well do the job, but it'll be a long time before any other units get to be as good or as useful as a Garmin product.

Stick to Garmin :thumb2

The 60CSx looks like it'll work

+1 on both posts, I use the Garmin 2610, ok getting a bit long in the tooth now but still a fantastic bit of kit, for road riding and a Garmin 60CSx for off road, as in motorbike, walking and mountain biking.
Both are easy to swap maps for different countries using mapsource, the 60CSx is ok for the road and routing but there is no audio as in speech but there is a beep to indicate turns so it can be alittle hard to follow at times
