Hi folks
This is my first time on the forum. I've only had my new GS for a couple of months after coming to motorcycling relatively late in life, but have to say I'm absolutely loving this machine, it's an absolute joy to ride.
Anyway, got a bloody screw in the rear tyre today so need to replace it. So, question is, do I order up another Michelin or go for something different?
Very grateful for advice/ opinions.
Thanks.

I assume you'll only be replacing the rear, in which case it is always best to stick with the same make & variation for front and rear.

Get it repaired professionally, it will be fine. However for piece of mind if you are new to biking, just replace with same, don't mix and match the front and rear with different brands.

If the screw is anywhere in the mid section of the tire, get it repaired and it will be fine. If you have a puncture repair kit, you can do it yourself as well. As earlier posters said, for peace of mind , get it professionaly done.
