Hi folks

Been looking at tyre slime or goo for my tyres for my planned trips this year..... anyone any feedback on their own experiences pros & cons.

Not sure how much would be enough for front and back...

Cheers in advance

Dusty

I've used it in the trail bike which has tubed tyres, and it worked a treat. I am wary of using it in the GS tyres as they're tubeless, so it could be messy when it comes to changing them. This is, in part, driven by the fact that I usually change my own tyres.

Have got some in mine, had it injected in when I had an MOT done, so far no problems. I believe it has a specific quantity as to the size of the tyre. The reason I use it is after a friend had a very slow puncture in Austria and after making a bollocks of trying to repair. Ended up having a new tyre because they won't repair a puncture in some European countries.
It gets the thumps up from me. :rob

Get a decent rat-tail based puncture repair kit and don't use goop.

Nasty horrible stuff.

If you put it in, tell whoever is changing the tyres you have it in there. They don't like it when their equipment is covered in slime!
