I have had a hankering after a Proper Tyre Needle for a long time
now. I decided to have a go .
This is just one for me ,which cost more than its worth.
I am Just looking to see if i could get the Numbers up, to get the Price down.
This is costing i.t.r.o £20 so the more the Numbers the Price drops.
Solid bar machined , It has a Good quality Heavy Feel to it , i used it the
other day ,,,with confidance ,noit like the Wee Screw driver type plastic
handled thing where you feel you might break it.
This is a Plugger for life.

Any interest

Is it made from one o` them kitchen draw handles..... :D

Yes I would be interested ....... does the businness end of the needle have an open side like the one in the Rema kit?

Just buy a tyre plugger kit and have done with it. I will try and do a linky thing to the one I have. It is a kit, fits under the seat of the 1150Adv with the tool roll, has about 15 tyre plug mushrooms in the kit too. Works perfectly - been running this tyre with one in, at over 100mph even, since it was about 500 miles old...now nearly ready for another new one (13,000 miles on the plug, no issues and not leaking either.) The whole kit was only about £20. Again, tool fo rlife and the soft mushrooms that fit even quite large holes.

Here you go, knew I would find it somewhere. There is also a thread on this tool kit that showed quite a few like minded tossers use this very same device. I don't know how to do that searchy thing though.

link to Busters who sell the Stop n Go tyre plugger kit. Really, it isn't worth making your own however clever and well found it is.

The one you want is the "Pocket tyre plugger kit".

Just noticed, they also do a tiny compressor 100mm x 120mm - sounds ideal for taking with you for inflating a repaired tyre, wouldn't take up any more room than a set of CO2 cylinders. I can't work their buying system though, so going to have ot wait until I can phone them and send them a cheque.

I wish I could work my pay pal account. I could spend some of the money sat in it then!

I know these exist , I am trying to gather Numbers to Offer a
Solid Piece of Kit . I have experisnce of most of these and none
compare on Quality to the Product i made.

Thanks :nenau

You Sure your not related to Proff ?

Probably the quality of the one you have made is 24 carat, but it still uses those horrid plugs that come in the BMW kit - useless compared to the mushrooms I have found. I had nothing but trouble with the BMW kit, even using liberal amounts of glue - gave mine away I was so impressed with it!

However, i hope you find lots of bods who like the thing you have made. It has certainly been lovingly crafted.
