I ordered my 1200 gsa from southport superbikes back in january , added the usual extras abs , h.grips computer etc and was given a list of new extras for 2007 , one of these was asc( anti slip control?)and tyre pressure control . I thought about these extras long and hard and decided to go for them as i'm a bit of a safety first kinda bloke , a couple of days later i got a call from SS about the tyre pressure control and that bmw do not fit it to spoked wheeled bikes  and that i would be getting my £155 back . Having read through some of the recent threads i have noticed that a few of the 1200 gsa riders have this fitted ,,,,, HOW ? I will be making a call to the dealers at the weekend to clarify the matter , but seeing as i pick the bike up on the 10th march , it looks like it's to late to have this fitted now anyway . Can someone shed some light on the matter :nenau

Some bikes were fitted with TPC, but there has been a problem with TPC on spoked wheels, so BMW have withdrawn the option for the time being. You could delay the delivery until BM have sorted out the problem, but that maybe quite a while.

I could delay it but my current bike gets sold this weekend , and one week without a bike is long enough , thanks .

Just buy a good quality tyre pressure gauge and get into the routine of regularly checking the tyres. Takes no time at all really. And you'll save a fair few quid too ... to spend on other goodies! :thumb
