Tyre Pressure Monitors

Beemerman - as it happens I have just had the tyres changed on my GSA a couple of days ago, and I have TPM's.
Tyres were changed by my local tyre place, dealt with them for years so trust them.
Discussed the TPM's and likelihood of damage. They've done them before, on bikes and cars. No problem!

Now- my front pressure comes up as soon as I start riding, as before, but the rear doesn't appear for maybe a mile or three or four.

Dunno what this means though !!!!!!

Mine respond in exactly the same way, front pressure comes up straight away the rear takes a few miles, however, I haven't had the tyres changed (4.5K miles). I just thought this was normal.

Not that bright are we. :augie.

That is always a strange insult for people to lob on the web, really. I personally find the idea of this sort of insult silly, but that's just me.

Anyway, instead of refuting it, why don't I instead just divert this thread with a picture that I took this morning at my old lab, just outside of Geneva, where I spent many a happy year designing machines that I now hear may destroy the world.

Maybe it is worth your while going down that way for a look around. Very pretty, with lots of good roads.

looks like it could do wi' a coat o' paint!

I know, and it's a new bit, as well, donated by the French. At least that bit has not exploded recently, though, which is more than can be said for some of the rest...
