Worried about bearing failure? Handling gone off? Concerns over shock performance?

Go check your tyre pressures; a fast and easy way to better handling pleasure.

I do it every year, around this time, thinking that something terrible has happened to the bike then remember to check the tyres. Loads better with more than 26PSI each end....:thumb2

You check your tyre pressure once a year.

There's a few on here that do it before each ride....and then maybe half way out too !

Seriously though. Yearly is a tad on the long side.

that's what i do. whenever i think the handling's gone off, i check the tyre pressures :thumb2

pressures

Best advice check before the journey that includes checking the tread for glass nails and debris
check after the ride out as well
pressure drop means something may be in the tyre
so important saves having a blowout at high speed ]ride safe :beerjug:

tyres

As long as aint flat at the bottom don't worry.

Checked mine at the weekend after being informed how they can effect the handling. 32 PSI both ends.

Now up much higher and awaiting a trial at the weekend. Oh and a new front tyre as on inspection it had a few cuts in it and cracks in the side walls. Shame to change it as its probably got half the tread left on it.

But I love the smell and touch of new rubber!!!

Shouldn't this be in the 1200 section?? :blast

Ridden 1150's since they first came out, had a Silver one with a red seat which was Ocean BMW's first demo 1150, still riding them today. Used to check everything all the time, now check when I feel the need through karmic intervention - like shite handling.

No idea what a 1200 is...
