Since I got my bike in March, I've never bothered checking the tyre pressures - I assumed they were set correctly during the pdi and checked at the first service. They bike felt fine and I never had a problem with grip.
Anyway, I checked them today and they were 2.5 bar and 2.9 bar respectively. I checked in the manual and these are the pressures for two-up riding. So, I decreased the pressures to the solo riding settings - 2.2 bar and 2.5 bar. Went for a 65-miler and first impressions are that the bike handles slightly worse, but it could be that I've just got used to the higher pressures.
I'd be interested to know what pressures others are using. I've got Tourances on and weigh 15 stone with all my kit on. Cue advice on dieting...
Cheers,
Malc
