I have a very slow puncture on a nearly new tyre , only about 5psi per week and cannot see any cause . Was wondering whether one of the many tyre sealants advertised would be any good. Anyone used anything that works?

If you can't see anything it needs further investigation. What bike? Some wheels can become porous. Is it the valve? Is it the bead? Is it tubeless? Is it where the valve seats on the rim? These tyre sealants do work but for peace of mind if like to know what I was sealing. Jjh. I know I'm a pain in the ass.

What JJH said were my first thoughts too I wouldn't be trusting the goo at high speed maybe that's just me?

Half the time its the bead seal.
Tyres get changed but no one ever bothers to clean the wheel where the tyre seats and the crud builds up in places.
I had leaks on both rims until I gave them a polish-up. Thing of the past now:)

Best way get some soapy water around tyre + rim edge or try & submerge the wheel bit at a time on front in a large bowl, easy on rear if it's a BMW no bearings to worry about dunk the lot spose you could have a bath with it :)
