Tyre Valves

I was thinking of changing my tyre valves from straight ones for angled ones, it would make checking pressures and adding air much easier. The valves are readily available, are there any good reasons not to do this.

oddly I have a rubber valve on the rear & a metal on the front.
You can use a cranked attachment for inflation @ service stations
