I have a 2013 LC and it has just been in for its 1st service at 10,414 kms (6,500miles)on the clock. I checked the tyres (Tourance Next) and I still have 3.5mm on the tread.

Now, I know that I am not the world's sportiest rider (having only sat on my 1st m'bike at age 51), but I am definately XL Tosser-size, and most mileage is spent in the Eifel rather than on motorways. So I was pleasantly surprised with the wear.

I have done some motorways and at 3500miles my tourances are badly flat spotted. I had pr3s on my s10 and the rear did the same at 5500ish miles,,, apparently the pr4s are better so time to try them soon.
Allsorts of things to consider when choosing tyres,,, but sounds like you've got it right.:thumb2

I have the next as well 4500miles in and still good should get my black forest trip out of them in June.

Just done 5200 on my Tourance NEXT but i think i will need a new rear at next service at 6500mi.
Found the rear for £102 + £7.50 delivery !

You poofs need to ride harder.:D My Next was down to the wear bars at 6k miles.:D

I need a quickshifter to wear them out quicker!

5k miles from my rear Anikee 3, not hard riding.Tyre shop tells me that there is a shortage of Anikees from the factory so bit the bullet and now have a pr. of Tourance Next fitted.Could always rely on 8k miles from the rear on my twin cam. Thought the Anikees were a bit skittish anyway.Much better with the Next.

I found the Tourance Next to be quieter and grippier than the Anakee's, but they wear quickly. Only 5k out of my rear tyre.
