I've had enough of rip off dealer prices for changing tyres that i have bought over the internet.£23 for a change and balance is taking the pi55. :spitfire
I can get the same fit tyre and balance done on my car for a tenner.
The machine that the car places use can also be used to replace the bike tyre for a fiver, but they can't balance the wheel.
Can anyone recommend a cheap, easy to use balancing gizmo for single side swing-arm wheels?.
Cheers,Col.

As long as the rims are balanced from the factory/dealership, I personally wouldn't worry too much about balancing after fitting tyres, especially as long as the yellow spot is in it's correct place opposite the valve unit.

Cheers for that mate.Ive heard only good things about the Marc Parnes balancing kit,so thats at the top of my list at the moment.Col.
