The time has come to replace my tourances - ASAP.
The front is looking a little cracked and after 8500 miles the rear looks like a dragster tyre:eek:
My local BMW dealer has quoted me 230 squid, ride in ride out everything included, to complete this task - and can do it fairly promptly - is this good ?
The bikes got ABS and I am a little concerned about damage/adjustment of the sensor.
Does anyone know of a cheaper but reliable/rim friendly place fairly close to me - I live in Stratford upon Avon.
The dealer is also doing a "deal" on some kind of puncture prevention goo - 25 squid - that everyone uses - apparently - ultraseal I think its called. Anyone used it ?, what happens when you vary tyre pressures - does it try and block the valve core ?

Cheers,

Racer.

oooh pricey!!

have a search of the forum you may find your answers
plenty of tyre firms out there cheaper than the mbw labour rates..
for supply and fitting the price quoted is way off ..:D

Just put yer hand in yer pocket, ya tight arse..............:D

I need a new rear tyre now, but no way am I replacing the T66, they are shite!! They let go twice yesterday on the BTBC run in the wet.

Trouble is if I fit a Tourance to the back I then have odd tyres on....not good:mad:

So do I replace them both at the same time, I ask myself:confused:

BTBR

More off road stuff yesterday BTW, but the good news, no rocks this week........just ruts, three lane ruts at that. Never moan about riding ruts on a dirt bike again and thats a fact.
