pardon me - i did search first but found nothing. :o

anyone got experience of Continental TK 16 tyres on the front of an R100gs?

need a new front soon / a local place has this cheap.

no point though if it's cr*p.

using Tourances at the mo - very happy with them. but the front is low on tread and getting "fidgety" over white lines and such.

TIA. :thumb2

Ogmios I had them on my R100rs good tire good mileage. But I would say this, you have a dirt bike, stick to the Tourances. Also a good tire, so if you ever venture off road, you know that gravel track as you ride through that unknown country side. you can with confidence :mmmm hope this helps

BamBam,

Thank you.
yes, that helps.
tells me if something looks too good to be true.... it probably is .

was hoping to save a few bob (scary time of year; too much going out / not enough coming in!) but i'd rather be safe than sorry.

though admittedly, the only times the Bike is "offroad" is when parked on the pavement :angel or when certain Tossers (you know who you are! :green gri) lead me astray on rideouts :D

If its a matter of cash, try the conti escapes. They are a lot cheaper than tourances and in my opinion, as good on road and off.:rob
