Hello chaps - not been on here for a good while - must do a bit of catching up.
Anyways, my 1100 GS with alloy wheels/road tyres needs some new hoops. I've had Bridgestone BT020s for the last 3 replacements. Not had any bother with them, and they last reasonably well, so will probably get another set.....unless anyone has a better idea. I use the old tub for commuting into London on a 30 mile each way commute. Couple of decent roundabouts to crank it over, then it's dull all the way - dual carriageway/motorway/central London, so longevity and wet weather ability is a priority rather than best trackday stylee roadholding. Hence 020s rather than 010s. Anyone got a recomendation?

Just got a pair of BT020's from Busters-online for £159.99 plus delivery. I've got the 3 spokes fitted to mine with the 160/60 ZR18 rear but they're doing this deal on other fittings.

I've just run a pair of BT020's around the TT circuit, at speed, many times :D for over a week with the "up at 6am then two laps before breakfast" brigade. There's still life in them & they held up to the job superbly. I wouldn't bother with anything else.

thought so....

I've not come across any suitable alternatives, so it looks like it's the 020s then - they have been fine to date, but you can't help but wonder if there is something better just around the corner
