I had Bridgestone TrailWing on my GS first, and now I have a Tourance on the rear. The TrailWing has a little better grip, I´ve had som sliding moments with the Tourance trying to keep up with my sportbike riding friends. But when they do let go the slide is slow and controllable. Next time it will be TrailWing again, even if they last only about 5000km.

Dunlops, 2,300 miles 1mm left, pile of shi##t, grip well in the dry, thats as good as it gets, tourance 4,500 miles on my adventure, will have to see what the 12 will do on tourance, not expecting no more than 4,500 miles, just got my latest pair for £135 quid from BFM motorcycles at shipley west yorkshire.

Andy was that £135 all in?

IE for tyres fitted to loose wheels with balance, valves etc

Do they geberally carry plenty in stock or is it best to ring ahead? Any idea of contact details?

Cheers

Anyone trid the Brodgestones yet. BT020 now availanble in sizes for GS should wear and grip better.

From the few folk that I have spoken to that have them fitted, they are rated very well........

I use 020s, but then I have a 17" front anyway and don't go off road........they are Fine..in all conditions........

I will be trying the new Metz. next time though, just because I can...

Yes well your bike is probably the coolest 1150 out there. ;) If the option becomes available to fit a 17" front wheel to the GS12 that should make a big difference for rapid road riding.

Hi Steve, that was just for the tyres, i bought them from rufforth of the guy who owns Bfm motorcyles at shipley, they charge 5 quid per wheel for fitting and ballancing them i just took both wheels through and let them get on with it, you need to speak to a bloke called Nige, he will sort you out.
