Anyone and experience of conti trail attack 2 on 1200GSWC, as current Michelin Anakee 3 are garbage, rear worn out and squared of at 4800, front not much better, plus noisy as hell.

Conti T/A 2 lasted 6k on my GSA LC which is about 1k more than they lasted on my Twin Cam, quiet, predictable and plenty of grip in rain or shine, a fresh pair have just been fitted to my GSA![]()
You call those goat tracks? They were main roadsWhat are they like on the nadgery goat tracks we rode in Wales?

Fine, no issues at all, wet or dry weather, broken surface or smooth I have no complaints.
Just put a pair of TKC 70's on my Stelvio.
Only done 150mls on a mixture of A's B's and Gravely back roads. Ridden 50 mls on a damp road but nothing in the rain yet.
First impressions are very favourable.
They Humm slightly but nothing annoying, in fact very quite on the move.
Turn in very nicely, and track a line inch perfect on fast bends. Just a touch and I mean a touch of understeer on quick tight bends.
On the back roads in North Yorks Moors I purposely road through all the gravel I came across, and they where very confidence inspiring.
Very stable on changing road surfaces.
Rode the 56 mls back home from our caravan on very damp roads and they felt very surefooted.
If these tyres are as good in the rain as they are at everything else....They will be my new tyre of choice....

£167 the pair delivered....Oponeo ?
What he said! TKC70 on my LC. Superb all round tyre with trail ability.
Sadly my experience of TKC70 on my 2014 GSA LC is very different. No particular problems up to 60 mph, but above that the very light feeling front starts to weave whenever you hit an imperfection in the road or change lanes on a dual carriageway. It's better having dropped the front tyre pressure to 33 psi, but it's not right. 1000 miles in and I'm toying with e-mailing Continental; the problem of the weaving tyre and bars on the LC is pretty well documented on Adv Rider as well as here.
I put 8000 miles on Annakee 3s and they were far better, but still not great. Not sure whether to change now or not, but it'll be PR4s next.
Had mine upto 110... absolutely rock solid
