So where are people getting tyres in Dublin these days? Is iggy in blakestown still around? Got tyres there a few years ago and was impressed with the service.
Do tourances still exist? What's the best tyre for the 1200gsa for road use? I had tourances, loved them, got conti's, prefer the tourances, but don't want the new tourances exps or whatever they're called that wear down after a month!
Cheers.

Mototechnic are getting a good name. (KCR Ind Estate D.6w)
or
Cotters. :nenau

may is uggest the k60 scout as well.i rather them over tourence.

also check german delaers, they also post and still cheaper thanbuying local

Duffys......

Interesting thread...... I need tyres and contacted duffys several weeks ago. They told me that at the time due to an "internal" issue they could not supply metzler tyres . I was told that the problem was getting accountants etc to sign forms & DD's for the supplier. So here is a major bmw dealer unable to supply metzler tyres due to internal wrangles :blast. Called in again last week to be told that they "may" soon be able to get metzlers :nenau

I got my last set in A1 tyres in Banbridge. At the time they were way cheaper than everyone else.

:thumb2 for Mototechnic. They matched Cotters prices.

ps;Crossans normally have a sale on all stock around late Oct/Nov. I got a set of pilot 2ct's fitted last year during the sale. Since they didn't have to post, ride in fitted&balanced for free:D

Thanks for the feedback.
I might try Mototechnic. Buy there or buy online? I'd rather buy here if there's only a tenner or 20 in the difference. I'm sure they get pissed off with lads coming along with tyres they bought somewhere else. Do they balance?
Went up north last year, way cheaper, but I can't be arsed this year, too lazy and don't really have the time :sleep

Kearys quoted me €260 for tourances fitted yesterday. It was €268 before I started to walk away. :aidan
