Hmm I may have seen one or two posts on this subject before ....
Why not try searching for "tyre" in the 1200GS section and see if anything comes up there ?
(Tip: If you limit the search to just lookign the titles there are only 37 threads)
If you have lot of time on your hands, search all posts...
just put on my second set of Battlewings
did 11,500 miles
still had about 2500 miles left
but as its winter coming up
and the back was quite squared off
i didnt want to risk it
done the lot sun snow rain sleet never scared me once
couldnt ask for more

If you dont want the knobbly types then try the conti trail attacks they grip like hell in all weathers and are supposed to be very long lasting, Cant comment on the latter as ive only done a few hundred miles, but much better than the tourance i had on IMHO. Ride magazine tested loads of tyres on the 1200gs for both road and dual purpose, try the search button you should come across it ok. Contis were not out when the tests were done so cant compare with this test. I just know i love em, and so do others on this forum.
