just been watching the U2 gig at home.
as i suspected, it looks much better in HD on a plasma with a big hi-fi than it did to me at the time.
bono and edge playing heroically in the rain, looks so much better than i felt watching, not terribly heroically* in the rain at the back of the arena.
i'm sure it would have been terrific in the mosh, but i'm far too old to get into that shit again
*ok, i was under a gazebo, but it was no picnic.
