the arm was fitted,the drive shaft located first,,, MAKE SURE YOU ARE CORRECT ABOUT THE TORQUE SETTINGS!!!!!!

the rest was fitted, battery, abs system, etc,,,the brakes took about 10mins to re blead so it was a good idea stripping this instead of the rear end:rolleyes:
 
the airbox was fitted, and tank put back on, all looking goooood

complete success!test run done and all good,,,
its an easy job really, (well. i thought so)far easier than a bandit,zxr,etc,

Good pics, Digger, and a somewhat entertaining cast of characters...:D:D

A couple of points for anyone else thinking of doing this. The first time I did mine, I too pivoted the back end up, but I didn't have to remove the ABS stuff. Don't know why, but all went well with it in place. Check you've got clearence though. The second time I did it I had a mate helping me, and he just went ahead and stripped it while I was at work one night, so he removed the back end. Quite useful really as some 'hot spanner' work was required to remove a couple of corroded nuts.

Also first time, as Digger, I used a {trolley} jack to help avoid bending the clutch rod. The second time, I removed the clutch action from the back of the box, then pulled the push-rod out before removing box. Done the same again on present replacement.

Great job is a little disturbing to see so many family members with such likeness :D
