I never thought of cycling. I shall bring my folding bicycle. It's such a long way from the campsite to the pubs...
UKGSer 'Dent event' Friday 19th - Sunday 21st May 2017

My wife and I will be up there in the wobbly box from either Tuesday or Wednesday next week returning home on New Years Day (after lunch) with the main aim being to do a couple of decent day rides on the mountain bikes taking in as many pubs as possible over a distance of around 30 miles. The difficult part is getting back before dark after being sidetracked in one pub too many but she's also going to want to visit tea rooms which is an unnecessary diversion
I hope travel up Thursday, Friday latest, for the New Year .... white VW Camper

So you've still not mastered the art of tent packing then
Best solution is to turn left out of the gate cycle a couple of hundred yards or so and stop at the first pub. Enjoy a beer or two then cycle a further few yards further for another beer or three. Return back to the first and another few beers before returning to the second pub. Repeat as necessary or until your legs get tired from pedalling

Ours will be the one with a cat staring out of the window because the oldest cat needs medication 3 times daily and we've got nobody that can look after her over the weekend. Not to worry, all she does is eat, shit and sleep so the location really doesn't worry her and she'll move around to find the best place to sleep in any available sunshine.

Dates work out nice for me and it's defo something to look forward to.
It's a provisional booking for camping but will confirm nearer to the date, will try and convince a few local chums to join me too.

Ah ha, I get a lot of fun out of doing the same
Just spent a week stripping and cleaning mine (the bike not my wife!), am loath to take it out to get dirty again (& found some more bl**dy corrosion on the engine block...!).
Offer still stands if needed, should be a good weekend!
